President / LPL Financial Advisor

I first joined Waddell & Reed in 2001 and began providing my own financial services in 2006. I was drawn to this work because in my heart I knew that through these services, I would be able to help people organize their financial lives in such a way that allows them to put their focus where they want it to be. I believe in helping people understand the complex financial systems that revolve around and impact their financial lives, so that they can strive to maximize what is available to them.

Growing up in Olympia, my dad was a teacher and my mom a dental assistant. Both of them have always been involved in their community. They instilled those community values in me, and taught me the importance of building connections and developing relationships. I’ve carried their spirit into my work. I love working with people from all walks of life to help them achieve their goals. My team and I partner with our clients and assist them in developing strategies to help them move forward and lead the best lives they can.

Outside of work, I can be found practicing yoga or digging in my garden -- both of which are quiet, meditative practices for me. At other (somewhat more noisy) moments I may be chasing my two growing boys on two wheels on some of Whatcom County’s mountain biking trails.

I received my BS in Finance from Western Washington University and I’m a lifetime member of the WWU Alumni Association.

I hold Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses through LPL Financial, a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS) designation, and an insurance license.
